Executive Director...

Formed in 1956, the Chamber of Commerce has been active in the development of this dynamic area.

Dedicated to the growing business community, the Chamber leadership selects programs and projects that will enrich the business climate and enhance the "small town" atmosphere that we all enjoy.

The Chamber is comprised of four divisions: Community Development, Public Relations, Membership Development, and Special Events. Within these divisions are many active, working committees which plan and sponsor events and provide assistance in the community throughout the year.

Chamber members are involved in all aspects of the community including: education, area beautification, government affairs, business development and leadership development. The Chamber of Commerce also sponsors and organizes the annual Boggy Bayou Classic Golf Tournament, the 4th of July Fireworks Extravaganza, as well as the annual Mid-Bay Bridge Run/Walk.

The Chamber of Commerce provides a foundation on which the community builds its goals, plans and events. Upon this foundation rests an important Chamber responsibility – to contribute to the quality of life enjoyed by both our residents and visitors.
