The Kiwanis Club of Niceville-Valparaiso is holding the Annual Pancake Breakfast and Silent Auction on Saturday, April 22nd, from 8:00 to 11:00 AM at the Niceville Community Center, 204 N Partin Drive (FL Highway 285) in Niceville. We cordially invite all members of the community, any and all community-service-minded folks, and hungry people of all ages to enjoy the best pancakes in Northwest Florida. Tickets are available in advance and at the door for $5. All students: $3. K-Kids wearing their K-Kids shirt are free and their family members are half price. Key Club and band members working in the event are free. Donations are welcome. Our annual Silent Auction is well supported by the Niceville, Valparaiso, Fort Walton Beach, and Destin communities and we typically have items including certificates for multi-night stays at area hotels, golf green fees, gift certificates to restaurants, and services such as personal care, physical fitness, etc., all at bargain prices! All proceeds from this auction will go to the Niceville-Valparaiso Kiwanis Foundation which allocates the funds to meet special needs in our community. Guests are also invited to join the Kiwanis Family, including the Niceville High School (NHS) Key Club, and Edge Elementary School K-Kids – all part of Kiwanis International. We will have information tables describing what we do in the community. The Key Club will be proving a kids corner with kids activities including: book reading, coloring and face painting. We will also have live music from Rocky Bayou Christian School’s Jazz Band. This is a great opportunity for fun, welcome-to-Spring, Saturday morning networking. Our weather chairman has ordered up a sunny and warm day. So, get a car pool together and come for a visit! Signs around the street and Kiwanis Family greeters will direct you to the entrance. We hope to see you there! If you have any questions, please contact me at the address above. For specific questions about the event, contact our event chairman Tim Parsons at (850) 830-7756 or email tim@timparsons.com. Sincerely, C.J. McEntire President, Kiwanis Club of Niceville-Valparaiso
