Mr. Dennis Gilson

Dennis Gilson, publisher of Niceville.com, is an award-winning print and radio journalist who has been reporting news in Niceville since 1979. Dennis has worked as a reporter with the Okaloosa News Journal-Bayou Times, Destin Log, Twin Cities Log, WFSH Radio and WMMK Radio. He was editor of the Bluewater Advertiser and Out of the Blue.

Dennis was an original member of the Fireworks Trust Fund Committee and served on the Chamber board in the early 1980s. He served as MC for Miss Mullet Pageants during the 1980s and has been a guest MC at the Boggy Bayou Mullet Festival.

From 1995-2000, Dennis served as a District Manager for Congressman Joe Scarborough,
